CREATING A NEW HEART FOR
BRISBANE’S INNER NORTH

Hudson Common, situated in the heart of Albion, is a master-planned precinct boasting a diverse mix of commercial, residential, and retail spaces. The precinct's vision aims to establish a vibrant lifestyle hub catering to the affluent neighbouring suburbs of Ascot, Hamilton, Windsor, and Wooloowin.

The team at CORE Property played a pivotal role in securing the hectare site through a competitive tender process. Leveraging their engineering expertise and strategic design planning, they identified the optimal value creation potential for the site. Instead of opting for demolition, which other bidders proposed for a neglected 40-year-old, 7,200m² office building, CORE Property proposed a sustainable solution, transforming the structure into a fully modernised, environmentally sustainable 10,000m² A-grade facility. This approach revitalised the area with renewed daytime activation.

Furthermore, the inclusion of a new supermarket and food and beverage hub, along with a mix of owner-occupier residences, garnered overwhelming support from the Council, culminating in the project's success. This comprehensive redevelopment not only revitalises the precinct but also contributes to the economic and social vibrancy of the surrounding communities.
